Achmea, the Dutch insurer, is now live using Eagle Investment Systems’ data management solution.

Eagle Investment Systems, the BNY Mellon-owned provider of financial services technology, will be responsible for helping centralise Achmea’s investment management data through its data management solution.

It will also be in charge of streamlining Achmea’s operations, in order to improve efficiency and support Solvency II and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) regulatory reporting requirements.

Eagle’s Data Integration Services (DIS) enabled Achmea to go live within a restricted timeframe, providing a shorter implementation schedule, using standard data integration feeds.

Achmea, who has been a BNY Mellon client since 2008, has also selected deployment services from BNY Mellon’s Front Office Services Group, who will supply data administration services and stewardship to the company.

“Demand for a much deeper level of detail and transparency continues to grow as firms address the continuously changing regulatory requirements… This only reinforces the need to select a data management vendor with a fixed data model. Without this in place, it
can be difficult to manage the data, provide credible audit trails and meet the regulatory requirements that are being mandated,” explains Legrand, managing director and head of EMEA and APAC at Eagle.
