John Donohoe, CEO of Carne Global Financial Services, an independent funds consulting company that aims to advise fund managers and their service providers, says his firm has acquired Aontas Consultants.
Aontas Consultants is a consulting firm which specializes in providing fund marketing and distribution services to investment management companies.
John Hamrock, founder of Aontas Consultants, will join Carne as Senior Consultant. He was previously head of State Street Global Advisors Fund Solutions team responsible for fund distribution and sub-advisory mandates. Prior to State Street he had established Federated Investors Dublin fund management subsidiary, building their offshore fund business.
“We are delighted to incorporate Aontas Consultants into Carne and to bring John Hamrock on board to help our customers in developing their European and global distribution efforts,” says Donohoe.
John Hamrock adds that “through the Aontas and Carne amalgamation, I am excited about the additional services we will bring to our customers and to growing our international financial services consulting business.”
