DST International (DSTi) says it is creating Global Compliance Office, a compliance library that will be available through DSTi’s HiCompliance application.

A team of DSTi consultants will continuously monitor and update DSTi’s set of rule definitions, leveraging the company’s global presence to identify the various worldwide regulatory bodies covered and work closely with these organisations.

DSTi says the service will ensure that all updates of regulatory compliance rules are sent automatically to Global Compliance Office clients. As rules are amended or created, they will be delivered via software updates.

“We are delighted that HiCompliance continues to lead the market as the choice, best of breed pre and post trade compliance solution, and our compliance team is always looking to add to the service,” says Brent Randall, DSTi’s head of front office solutions. “HiCompliance is a comprehensive solution that meets current regulatory requirements in many markets. In the past, users had to interpret the rules themselves. Our plan is to ease the burden of research and analysis from our users by providing pre-configured compliance rules sets for the major investment markets.”

DSTi plans to release Global Compliance Office rules to HiCompliance clients in early 2005.
