LJH Global Investments, a global hedge fund advisory firm, announced today the appointment of John P. Driscoll as Chairman of the Advisory Board. In his new role with LJH, Driscoll will advise President James R. Hedges, IV on matters related to strategic partnerships and acquisitions.

“I have known John for almost a decade and have come to rely on his broad based experience and insights for many of LJH’s accomplishments to date. Going forward, John’s more integrated role with LJH will help accelerate the firm’s ambitious growth plans as a dominant global player in the fund of hedge funds and consulting field,”

said Hedges.

Driscoll is the Founder of Odyssey Management LLC, a Greenwich, Connecticut-based company that specializes in strategy consulting and interim management for companies such as Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield and Oak Investment Partners. Prior to founding Odyssey, Mr. Driscoll was Chairman of the Board and Chief Restructuring Officer for Yclip Corporation, which was recapitalized and sold to First Data Corporation.

Before that, he worked with Walker Digital, the corporate parent of Priceline.com, as the Executive Vice President of New Ventures and as Chief Executive Officer of VL Inc. Earlier, Driscoll spent seven years with Oxford Health Plans, a publicly traded $4.5 billion health care company, where he founded and led its Government Programs Division. During his tenure, Government Programs grew from $3 million to $1.3 billion in sales.

Driscoll earned a Master’s in Business Administration at the Harvard Business School, a Master’s in Philosophy at Cambridge University and a Bachelor of Arts degree at Harvard University.
