Northern Trust has hired Douglas McEldowney, CFA, for its Large Cap Value Equity team of Northern Trust Global Investments (NTGI). He is an addition to the 12-person team based in West Palm Beach, Florida. As Senior Portfolio Manager, McEldowney is responsible for fundamental equity research and portfolio management. He reports to Robin Kollannur, CFA, chief investment officer of the Large Cap Value Equity team.

NTGI’s Large Cap Value Equity team has over USD5.1 billion in assets under management as of 30 September 2006. McEldowney joins Northern Trust from Templeton Portfolio Advisors, where he managed high net worth and institutional accounts and conducted fundamental equity research. Prior to working for Templeton, McEldowney served as a portfolio manager at Invesco Funds Group and at Bank of America Investment Management. He has 24 years of experience in the financial services industry.
He received his B.B.A. in Finance at the University of Kentucky and his M.B.A. from the Crummer Graduate School at Rollins College. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst.
