Dion Launches Data Collection Tool for PE and VC Firms

Dion Global Solutions has launched AlphaClick, which streamlines the collection and analysis of portfolio company data for private equity and venture capital firms.

The tool helps fund managers meet increased transparency and reporting requirements, and it automatically turns raw investor information into actionable insights, thereby reducing the time spent on collecting, processing and analyzing data.

AlphaClick, which was developed using HTML5 and is compatible with all browsers and platforms, is hosted in the cloud and available on a Software as a Service (‘SaaS’) basis.

“We wanted to take the headache out of data management for private equity and venture capital firms,” says Anurag Garg, president, Financial Research & Information, Dion. “In other parts of financial services, technology exists to trade in less than a millisecond and make payments from your smartphone wherever you are in the world. However, private equity and venture capital firms are still relying on manual processes to retrieve and manipulate vital information. This provides clients with the ability and confidence to access the technology they deserve and need for their business.”

Dion has already deployed the solution at RTP Ventures, a U.S.-based venture capital firm that specializes in investing into software companies.
