Dexia has bought Trax Corporate PayStation to replace its existing offline wholesale payments technology.

Besides cash management functionality, the Trax application offers single payments, batch payments, recurring payments, circular cheques, multi-country reporting and direct debits.

In the selection process, standard functionalities, future consistency and quick delivery were important factors, says Trax. “The functionalities of Corporate PayStation solution were from the beginning almost completely in line with the expectations of Dexia,” says Hans Cobben, CEO of Trax. “We have been demonstrated that with minimum adaptations, we will be able to deliver the product within the strict timelines.”

Dirk Hoebeeck, CIO Dexia, added that the bank was looking for a modern application which could be implemented at short notice and which would give Dexia a distinctive capability. “A strong requirement was that the specific needs would not be detrimental to the use of a standard product, by choosing Trax this was achieved,” he says.
