Deutsche Bank announced today that its Domestic Custody Services business has implemented its db Trader 4.0 custody operations platform in Hungary. Hungary is the first of the Bank’s operations in Eastern Europe to implement the system. db Trader 4.0 has been developed by Deutsche Bank to serve as a common securities processing platform (SMAC system) for its domestic custody operations worldwide. It will allow Deutsche Bank’s custody clients to access all components of the Domestic Custody Services information delivery platform including Message Broker, the integrated data warehouse services and the internet based client front end system to be delivered in Q4 this year.

db Trader 4.0 is currently operational in thirteen of the 23 markets in which the Bank provides custody services. Deutsche Bank intends to continue its rollout of db Trader 4.0 in Eastern Europe with implementation in the Czech Republic later this year.
