Deutsche Börse Market Data + Services, the analytics and connectivity arm of the German exchange group, has partnered with BSE (formerly Bombay Stock Exchange), where Deutsche Börse will be the exclusive licensor of BSE market data and information products internationally.
While Deutsche Börse will be responsible for sales and marketing outside of India, BSE will continue to market its own products inside the country. The products cover areas such as real-time data of BSE’s equity and derivative markets and corporate actions.
The two companies will also jointly work on product development and innovation for data solutions and infrastructure. The agreement extends the relationship between the exchanges, as BSE agreed in March to deploy Deutsche Börse’s trading infrastructure.
“By partnering with BSE we give customers access to the full suite of real-time, delayed and end-of-day data products offered by both exchanges under a single license agreement. This approach meets clients’ market data needs while reducing their administrative requirements and increasing overall efficiency,” says Georg Gross, head of front office Data + Services, Deutsche Börse.
“BSE is once again happy to partner with Deutsche Börse as this will enhance BSE’s visibility with international clients in the area of market data and information products. BSE will also get access to the innovative product development expertise of Deutsche Börse, which shall help BSE to provide an improved customer experience,” says Balasubramaniam Venkataramani, chief business officer, BSE.
