Deutsche Brse AG is continuing to expand its XTF Exchange Traded Funds segment. The first fixed interest exchange traded fund has been trading in XTF since Friday. The Xavex SICAV Dynamic Bond Portfolio Fund is available with automatic dividend reinvestment (WKN: 541 613) and with dividend distribution (WKN: 541 614).

The Xavex SICAV Dynamic Bond Portfolio Fund is issued by Xavex SICAV, Luxembourg. Xavex is thus the sixth issuer in XTF. Deutsche Bank will act as Designated Sponsor for the Xavex SICAV Dynamic Bond Portfolio Fund.

The Xavex SICAV Dynamic Bond Portfolio Fund is an actively managed fund benchmarked against the iBoxx Euro Overall Index. This index comprises more than 1000 bonds ? Sovereigns, Sub-Sovereigns, Collateralised and Corporate bonds. iBoxx Ltd. was established in August 2001 as a joint venture by ABN AMRO, Barclays Capital, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Morgan Stanley, UBS Warburg and Deutsche Brse.

In April 2000, Deutsche Brse became the first European exchange to launch a segment for exchange-traded funds. The XTF segment has since established its position as the leading market segment for ETFs in Europe, with a market share of over 50 percent in April. There are currently 43 index funds and 14 actively managed exchange traded funds listed in the XTF segment.
