Deutsche Bank Global Markets is establishing a specialist private clients FX team alongside the existing institutional and corporate FX sales teams. This new global initiative will combine FX knowledge with Private Wealth Management, to deliver FX coverage to high net worth individuals who require institutional-like coverage consistent with their size and sophistication.

Heading up this initiative is Roger Posch who joined Deutsche Bank at the start of the year from UBS, where he was most recently head of corporate and institutional clients, Asia Pacific. Prior to this, Posch was head of FX distribution for direct access clients for UBS Zurich. He has over a decade of experience in FX markets, having begun his career as an FX trainee at SBC Warburg Dillon Read. Posch reports to Neehal Shah, global head of Investor Foreign Exchange Sales.

Joining Posch in London will be Christoph Ehrbar, formerly head of FX Distribution for Wealth Management UK, UBS; Ian Henderson, who most recently worked on the UBS Wealth Management UK and European Corporate FX desks in London and Nadeem Ladki from Hedge Fund and Middle East Private Client Sales, UBS

The Zurich team will also include Martin Brunner, who previously worked in FX Sales for Direct Access Clients, UBS and Leong Kwok Liew, formerly head of group for Direct Access Clients, Credit Suisse

“This joint venture represents an exciting opportunity to boost the service offered to Deutsche Bank’s high net worth clients within the FX space. Our foreign exchange business is ranked No.1 globally and is therefore best placed to meet the complex needs of sophisticated private clients with a full suite of FX products and services,” says Zar Amrolia, head of Global Foreign Exchange, Deutsche Bank.

“Wealthy clients, especially ultra-high net worth individuals are becoming more demanding in terms of investment solutions and increasingly are looking for an institutional level of service. This new initiative with Global Markets complements our existing FX services and will enable our clients to benefit from the expertise of the market leaders in FX,” adds Davis Campbell, global head of Private Wealth Management Investments and Sales.
