Deutsche Bank’s head of Global Prime Finance for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) has left the bank to pursue new opportunities, according to one source with knowledge of the matter.

Daniel Caplan left the role last week, as has Simon Kempton, Deutsche Bank’s head of International Prime Brokerage, according to reports. Caplan has been replaced by Ashley Wilson, Deutsche Bank’s current head of Synthetic Equity, in which he will take on both roles.

The appointment comes at a time where Deutsche Bank is reshuffling its prime brokerage management, after appointing Gregg Bunn as head of Prime Finance for the Americas last month.

Both Bunn and Wilson will report to Dixit Joshi, who took up the role as global head of the unit and replacing Barry Bausano, a GC Legend, in April.

A spokesperson for Deutsche Bank declined to comment.
