Deutsche Bank’s Private Wealth Management division today announced the appointment of Tom Slocock as a managing director and Head of PWM UK, effective 1 March 2009.
Based in London, Slocock will report to Pierre de Weck, Head of PWM globally, and will join the Deutsche Bank PWM Global Executive Committee.
Slocock joins Deutsche Bank from Credit Suisse where he was Head of International Private Banking, having previously worked in the Private Client Services business as Head of the UK Business. Prior to joining Credit Suisse he worked at Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers.
Slocock will replace David Campbell who joined Deutsche Bank with the acquisition of the Tilney Group. Deutsche Bank acquired Tilney Investment Management in 2006 to strengthen its presence in the UK private wealth management market.
Campbell will remain in London to focus exclusively on his principal role as Head of Global Investments and Services.
“Tom will bring a great deal of valuable experience and expertise to bear on the role and under his leadership, we expect to further develop the UK franchise to realise our ambitions for the region,” said Pierre de Weck, PWM head.
