Deutsche Bank has announced senior appointments for its global transaction banking’s (GTB) Trade Finance and Cash Management Corporates business unit in Asia in response to customer needs and to complement its growing Asian business. GTB encompasses Deutsche Bank’s cash management, trade finance, capital market sales and trust & securities services.

Mahesh Kini has been appointed regional cash management corporates head, Asia Pacific based in Singapore. Mahesh joined Deutsche Bank in 2007 and was previously responsible for expanding regional CMC business. In his new appointment, Mahesh will be responsible for building the regional cash management corporates portfolio in Asia Pacific through target market expansion and fully leveraging on Deutsche Bank’s global network.

Suman Chaki has been appointed head of trade finance, cash management corporates and corporate banking coverage, in Malaysia. In his previous role as head of cash and trade sales in India, Suman has been a strong pillar for the cash and trade business in the Indian franchise since he joined Deutsche Bank in 1999. Based in Malaysia, Suman will oversee the growth of the trade, cash management and corporate banking coverage portfolios in Malaysia.

Bryan Chen has been appointed as head of trade finance and cash management corporates for Deutsche Bank in Taiwan. Bryan joined Deutsche Bank in Taiwan in 2006 as the sales head for cash management. In his new role, Bryan will be responsible for building the sales management disciplines and focus on target market expansion for the trade and cash management business in Taiwan.

Timothy Lee has been appointed head of sales, cash management corporates in Hong Kong. Timothy will be directly responsible for leading the strategic plans for the cash management business in Hong Kong. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Timothy was a Director in the local corporate division of Citigroup in Hong Kong. Timothy has also worked for HSBC in Hong Kong and American Express Bank in US.
