Deutsche Bank Makes Four Senior Securities Apointments

Deutsche Bank has appointed four senior managers to its Securities Clearing business.

Kevin Buschhold has been appointed director, Global Product Development, Securities Clearing; Mike Clarke has been appointed director, Global Product Delivery, Securities Clearing; Graham Ray has been appointed director, Global Production Management, Securities Clearing; and Sean O’Neil has been appointed vice president, Securities Finance.

All four are based in London and report to Rob Scott, global head of Securities Clearing, Domestic Custody Services.

Buschold will be responsible for the clearing product development and strategy across the 28 markets in which it operates. His responsibilities will include strategic planning and business development with the broker dealer community. Buschold joins from HSBC where he spent 10 years with HSBC Global Markets Operations, in senior Network Management and Exchange Traded Derivatives Relationship Management roles. Prior to joining HSBC, Buschold has also worked in global custody operations for 13 years with Natwest and Daiwa Europe Bank.

Clarke will be responsible for the delivery of change management programmes for the clearing and securities finance products throughout the franchise. Clarke joins the bank from Pershing Ltd, where he was a senior member of the project office. Prior to joining Pershing, Clarke worked for 14 years at Broadridge Financial Solutions and was responsible for key process change and service programmes for the Banking and Brokerage sectors.

Ray will be responsible for the “Clearing” product’s “Operational Service Delivery”, supporting “Service Development” with the Broker Dealer community and other Financial Institutions. Ray joins from Northern Trust where he worked within Securities Operations, prior to joining Northern Trust Graham has worked in Operations for 15 years with Cantor Fitzgerald and Bank of America in key operational management positions.

Sean O’Neil will be responsible for the Securities Finance product management and joins from UBS where he worked 10 years trading Equity Finance and associated cash and collateral management products. O’Neil has previously worked at Merrill Lynch, Cater Allen and Pru Bache and has 17 years securities finance industry experience.
