Deutsche Bank has hired Jason Sheller as director, head of sales for Fund Services in the Americas, within Deutsche’s Global Transaction Banking division.
Deutsche’s Fund Services covers administrative, custodial and banking services to the whole gamut of alternative investment vehicles. As the head of sales in the Americas, Sheller will be based in New York to work with hedge funds, private equity firms and real estate funds. Plus, Sheller will oversee general fund services sales in Latin America. He will report to Simon Behan, global head of fund services sales.
Prior to joining Deutsche, Sheller served as an executive director in private equity services sales at J.P. Morgan. He brings over 20 years of experience in sales to the new role.
“Our Fund Services business has been a significant growth engine for Deutsche Bank’s Global Transaction Banking division,” says Behan. “As the alternative fund sector continues to develop, Jason’s depth of experience with these types of clients will be an invaluable asset as we further enhance our fund services business in the region.”
