Deutsche Bank’s Fund Services has appointed Kelly Gouveia as a vice president and head of its Trustee business in Jersey, which provides third-party fund administration, trustee and transfer agency services to alternative funds.

In this role, Gouveia will be responsible for managing the trustee function of the business, which includes ensuring compliance with the local regulator, the Jersey Financial Services Commission. Gouveia will also assist the wider EMEA depositary team as needed.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Gouveia held several roles, particularly around compliance, at Altis Partners, a Jersey-based hedge fund.

“I am delighted to welcome Kelly to Deutsche Bank in Jersey at an exciting time of expansion for our Funds Services business. Her extensive knowledge of local regulation combined with her expertise in implementation of new regulation, risk assessment and compliance monitoring will be an asset to our team,” says Andreas Tautscher, chief country officer for Deutsche Bank in the Channel Islands.
