Deutsche Bank has appointed Andrew Pettit as platform enhancement specialist as it expands its agency securities lending (ASL) team.

Based in New York, Pettit will focus on product innovation in light of changing markets and regulations.

As part of Deutsche Bank global transaction business, ASL provides securities including non-custodial securities lending and collateral management.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Pettit served as executive director in bank resource management at Morgan Stanley for four years. He also worked as head of business development at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co’s global securities lending unit for three years.

“We are pleased that Andrew has joined the team as we continue to grow and invest in our agency securities lending program,” said Anthony Toscano, co-head of ASL in the Americas.

“Andrew’s deep and diverse experience in securities finance will further our ability to meet the sophisticated needs of our clients.”
