Deutsche Bank Boosts U.S. Collateral Team

Deutsche Bank has hired Steven Rubel as its new global head of Collateral Operations, and Americas head of Markets Clearing and Listed Derivatives Operations.

Deutsche Bank has hired Steven Rubel as its new global head of Collateral Operations, and Americas head of Markets Clearing and Listed Derivatives Operations.

He joins from AIG where he was most recently global head of Collateral Management and global Capital Markets Treasurer. He also served as global head for Collateral Management at HSBC.

As well as Rubel, Deutsche Bank have also hired Steve Horn to head the Group Technology and Operations (GTO) unit in New York, and Maggie Parent as head of GTO Corporate Technology for the Americas.

Horn was previously global head of GTO Corporate Banking & Securities Clearing and Collateral Management. Parent joins from Credit Suisse where she was COO for Investment Banking Technology.

“These appointments reflect the Bank’s commitment to strengthening key infrastructure staff in order to meet regulatory and operational requirements globally,” says a Deutsche Bank statement.

“The Bank is hiring 500 employees in the U.S. across various control functions.”
