Deutsche Bank Appoints Two New Senior Managers in Malaysia

Deutsche Bank has appointed Jacqueline Williams as head of Direct Securities Services for its Malaysia division, and has promoted Chua Mee Ling to Williams current position, CEO of Deutsche Trustees Malaysia Berhad.

Williams will lead the banks Direct Securities Services division, which provides custody, fund administration and other securities services in the region.

Ling, who was previously the head of global network banking in Malaysia, will oversee the local trustee business, including registrar and transfer agency services, as well as trustee services for unit trusts, private retirement schemes and private debt securities for domestic and international clients.

Both Ling and Williams will report to Mrugank Paranjape, Asia Pacific head of Trust & Securities Services and regional head of securities for the global network banking division. They will also report to Raymond Yeoh, Deutsches chief country officer in Malaysia.

As the first service provider in Malaysia to offer fully integrated securities services, we are in a position of strength in this key market of the ASEAN region, says Paranjape. Jacqueline and Mee Ling will be instrumental in further expanding our business locally. They bring a wealth of experience to their respective new roles and I am pleased to see our local talent seize new opportunities within Deutsche Bank.
