London, Deutsche Bank today announced the appointment of Tom Cooper as co-chairman of Global Mergers and Acquisitions. Cooper will be based in London and joins from UBS where he was until recently the head of European M&A.

On joining in June, Cooper will bring 21 years of experience in M&A at UBS to the Bank’s major corporate and government clients, particularly in Europe. At UBS he has advised companies such as British Airways, Halliburton, Carnival Corp, Temasek, Vinci and Exel. Mr. Cooper will report to the co-heads of Global M&A, Henrik Aslaksen and Brett Olsher.
