Deutsche Bank Appoints Sales Heads for New Fund Services Business

Deutsche Bank has appointed Deborah Thompson as global head of sales for Fund Services and Robert Coates as a director in the Fund Services EMEA sales team.

Deutsche Bank has appointed Deborah Thompson as global head of sales for Fund Services and Robert Coates as a director in the Fund Services EMEA sales team.

Deutsche Bank recently created the Fund Services business, part of Global Transaction Banking (GTB), offering a range of administrative, custodial and banking services to ETFs, UCITS, hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity and real estate funds and other alternative investment vehicles, from start up through growth to maturity.

Thompson joined GTB in March as global head of Client Solutions & Relationship Management. Previously she was in the banks Global Prime Finance Sales group within Corporate Banking & Securities. She will be based in London and report to Nelius De Groot, global head of Financial Institutions & Securities Sales, Deutsche Bank GTB.

Coates joins from Man Investments. Based in London, he will report to Simon Behan, head of sales for EMEA.

Deborahs broad experience with our clients makes her ideally suited to the varied and growing client base of Fund Services, says De Groot. Roberts appointment further strengthens our Fund Services team in Europe. These appointments are an example of the continued investment we are making in this part of our business.
