Deutsche Bank has appointed Richard Settle as chief risk officer within its Direct Securities Services (DSS) business.
Based in London, Settle will be responsible for all risk aspects of the DSS business, including credit risk. He joins from Citi, where he was head of the credit risk management function for EMEA Banks and European Broker/Dealers.
Richards profound knowledge of the securities business will provide further comfort to our clients in entrusting their assets to us and will be crucial as we strive to achieve our ambitious targets, says Howard Topf, head of DSS.
