Deutsche Bank Appoints New Chief Operating Officer, Cayman Islands

Caymanian Tanya Campbell is the new Chief Operating Officer in the Cayman Islands for Deutsche Bank.

In her new role, Campbell will manage all aspects of the banks Cayman office operations and infrastructure, with specific responsibility for Private Wealth Management operations. She will form part of the Offshore Group COO team headed up by Andreas Tautscher.

With her broad financial services experience and her in-depth knowledge of the Cayman market, she is well placed to provide strong leadership and vision to our management team.”

Campbell has in-depth knowledge of the local banking market having worked in the financial services industry in the Cayman Islands for eight years. Before joining Deutsche Bank (Cayman) Limited in December 2007, she held the position of Deputy Chief Financial Officer at an Offshore Private Bank in Cayman, with financial reporting responsibility for a range of structured investment and derivative products.

In addition, Campbell has spent time in retail banking in a number of managerial roles, in finance, corporate credit and mutual fund administration. With an extensive background in accounting, she also has a comprehensive knowledge of banking operations, having been instrumental in establishing various processes in the operations department of a newly formed bank created through a merger.

Campbell holds Master and Bachelor Degrees in Accounting from Florida International University and successfully passed the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) exam in 2000.
