Deutsche Bank has appointed Radoslaw Ignatowicz as Board member of Deutsche Bank Polska SA. In this position, Ignatowicz will be responsible for the Banks Trust & Securities Services and Cash Management for Financial Institutions business in Poland.
Before joining Deutsche Bank, Ignatowicz was a Board member of the National Depository for Securities (KDPW SA) responsible for the operational aspects of KDPW central depository and clearing house functions. Prior to that, he held the position of managing director of Bank Pekao SA Custody Department.
Ignatowicz has actively participated in the lobbying efforts of the custodian community in Poland, being appointed the Chairman of the Custodian Banks Council at the Polish Banks Association from 2001 until his move to KDPW in 2008. He represented Polish custodian banks in various market development initiatives and committees dealing with amendments to regulations. For his work within the Council, he was awarded the Silver Cross of Merit in 2005 by the President of the Republic of Poland and in 2008 he received the Badge of Honor of the President of the Polish National Bank for merits for the Polish Banking Industry.
