The Deutsche Bank AS board has appointed Ersin Akyuz the new CEO and executive member of the board of directors for Turkey, effective after the BRSA’s approval.
Akyuz has 19 years experience in the banking sector and previously worked as vice president in charge of Turkey Corporate Finance and Capital Market at Bankers Trust London between 1989 and 1996. He served as managing director in charge of Turkey between 1996 and 2005 at Morgan Stanley London. Akyuz has been working at Deutsche Bank London since 2005 in the Global Markets division as managing director with responsibility for Turkey.
He holds BSc and MSc degrees in Economics from the London School of Economics and MBA degree in Finance from University of Chicago.
Selcuk Yorgancioglu, CEO and executive member of the board of directors since April 2007 has left Deutsche Bank AS to continue his career in private equity area.
