Deutsche Bank has launched mobile authorisation in Asia – an advanced web-based mobile authorisation feature that uses the latest mobile push technology in the market to allow corporate users easy access to transactional information while providing timely authorisation from any location.
In today’s dynamic and fast-moving environment, corporate executives responsible for authorising payments need to access electronic transactional information while being on the move. This new web-based feature, when used together with a smart-phone, allows corporate users to benefit from mobility in electronic-transactional authorisation. This means that they can access real-time information on pending transactions and responses on authorisation results whenever and wherever they are.
As a first in the market, mobile authorisation is the only authorisation option with a nonrepudiation support feature. This integrated mobile technology is available via db-direct internet, the bank’s web-based e-commerce platform. It comes as an addition to db-direct internet’s two existing modes of authorisation via online and remote token authorization.
“Deutsche Bank has taken a first step in the mobile payments space by introducing a facility that is electronic and prompt, where transactional information is easily available,” says Tay Kok Keong, regional head of cash product management for Deutsche Bank in Asia-Pacific. “Mobile authorisation certainly has a lot of market potential and we expect more clients to upgrade to this enhanced value-added feature.”
