Deutsche Bank Adds to Issuer Services Team

Deutsche Bank has hired Hugo Smyth as a director for its Issuer Services Sales team.

Smyth joined from BNY Mellon earlier this month, where he had previously spent eight years covering clients in the Middle East, Turkey, Africa and the U.K. as a vice president for Corporate Trust sales.

He reports to Karen Lomax, EMEA head of Issuer Services Sales.

In the role, Smyth will be responsible for managing business development in the Middle East, Southern Europe, and selected London-based clients, with a focus on continuing to develop the Issuer Services’ Project Finance business.
