Denis Peters to Depart Euroclear

Denis Peters, a long-serving public relations legend of the securities services industry, is leaving Euroclear to pursue other interests.

Texas-born Peters, who has worked at Euroclear’s marketing and communications team in Belgium for nearly 20 years, has decided to take “early” retirement after a career spanning more than 35 years.

Peters will be leaving Euroclear at the end of November. He told Global Custodian that upon leaving he will be traveling and spending time with his family in the U.S. before embarking on individual projects. He then aims to return to Belgium where he will apply for dual citizenship.

Euroclear have not yet announced his successor in the Marketing & Communications team.
