Credit Suisse appoints David Norman to the newly created role of CEO Asset Management for the UK and Ireland bolstering the company’s regional management team and continuing the positive momentum of the UK and Ireland business.

Norman will be responsible for the development of the Asset Management business in the UK and Ireland and will lead the management of retail and institutional client relationships, sales, product development and marketing efforts. He reports directly to JC Perrig, Head of EMEA for Credit Suisse’s Asset Management business.

Furthermore, our Alternatives capability was recently recognised at the UK Pensions Awards, so we are delighted with recent progress and despite tough markets we are looking forward to continuing to be a strong player in our chosen areas, providing clients with compelling investment solutions. Norman brings over 20 years experience in the UK fund management industry and joins directly from Morley Fund Management (Aviva Investors) where he was Director of Marketing and Products. He brings a wealth of retail and institutional experience from a number of prestigious investment brands in the UK. He started his working career in direct and IFA sales and has worked in marketing and e-commerce roles at Threadneedle Asset Management and was the architect behind the ISIS and Insight Investment brands.

Prior to his role at Morley Fund Management Norman was Divisional Managing Director for Insight Investments, Retail and Group Marketing Director for ISIS Asset Management and Head of Retail Business Development for Prudential Portfolio Management.
