Data Explorers Limited announced that they will be opening a subsidiary in North America in November. Tim Smith will be heading up the office as president of Data Explorers Inc, he is due to take up this post in the USA at the end of November.

Smith previously worked at AXA Investment Managers in London where he was in charge of their Global Inventory Management. He has over 20 years experience in international securities finance across the complete range of participants. He will be responsible for North American sales and client relationships and recruitment of additional personnel.

Mark Faulkner, chief executive of Data Explorers commented, “We are delighted to announce this appointment. Tim’s experience will be invaluable in growing our existing business in North America and in the development of additional opportunities. Our commitment to this region is there for all to see.”
