CSK Software AG (CSK) has announced a strategic alliance with iWay Software (iWay), an “information builder” and adaptor vendor. The deal enables CSK to deploy iWay’s technology in its solutions.
The focus of the new partnership is on the integration of iWay’sapplication and middleware adaptors with X-Gen, CSK’s enterprise application integration engine. “With this expanded choice of connectivity,” argues CSK’s chief technology officer, Andreas Wagner, “we will be able to offer a wide range of solutions to both our established investment and retail banking customer base and to other financial markets.”
CSK will now be able to offer a range of adaptors suitable for any financial application, he says. “Customers will no longer be restricted in their choice of adapters,” he confirms, “and will benefit from what is effectively a future-proof answer to their project development needs.”
CSK says the combination of iWay Software with X-Gen will offer off-the-shelf solutions which are easy to deploy and maintain. In addition, says the company, process automation will benefit from the ability to connect standard industry applications more easily. For example, iIntegration of financial applications with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, or connectivity to customer relation management (CRM) systems such as Siebel and PeopleSoft.
