CSK Software AG (CSK), the Japanese owned software solutions provider with large ambitions in the UK markets, has appointed Mercator STP maven Lindsay McEwan as sales director. His immediate brief is to head a drive by CSK into the covered warrants market.

McEwan spent three-and-a-half years at Mercator, where he was instrumental in switching the company’s focus from technical product sales to selling solutions. From a global standpoint, CSK has a deep and established commitment to the financial services community and an outstanding product offering,” says McEwan. “Its financial services expertise and intellectual property, combined with a product set used globally at the heart of the top 100 banks has ensured its healthy survival in the hardest of times.”

McEwan will also focus on CSK’s key business issues for the coming year, including the centralisation of management of static data, collateral and liquidity management and easing customers into a rapidly evolving SWIFT environment.
