Credit Suisse has appointed Jeff Jennings as its new head of European prime services according to a memo seen by Global Custodian.

Taking over from the departing Dougal Brech, Jennings will report to global head of prime services Mike Paliotta and regionally to head of European equities Stephen Dainton.

Jennings, who will be based in the London office, joined Credit Suisse in 2009 as global head of prime derivatives services and has since helped position the business as a leading listed derivatives execution and clearing franchise.

The memo also said that Jennings had been “an active advocate for the bank and the industry via his membership and participation in numerous industry and regulatory related groups.”

A spokesperson for Credit Suisse confirmed the contents of the memo.
