CME Group has recently deployed CorvilNet, latency management system produced by Corvil, an electronic trading and market data latency provider.

CorvilNet monitors, analyzes and optimizes electronic trading infrastructures against ultra-low latency objectives encompassing market data feeds and order execution traffic.

With the CorvilNet latency management system, clients specify latency objectives of their trading and market data infrastructures in terms of meaningful microsecond targets, and automatically and continuously monitor for compliance against those baselines.

Corvil was introduced to CME Group by Enterprise Ireland, the government agency responsible for development and promotion of indigenous businesses.

Corvil is emblematic of Irelands entrepreneurial vitality and we congratulate their ability to compete vigorously on a global scale, says Gerry Murphy, executive director, International Sales & Partnering, Enterprise Ireland

A key element of our business is to provide low-latency trading and data services to our customers: CorvilNets real-time monitoring capability and in-depth analytical tools enable us to optimize the performance of these core services, says Kevin Kometer, managing director and chief information officer, CME Group.

Corvil welcomes a rigorous review of CorvilNet and winning approval of CME Group, well known for its high performance standards, underscores the robustness of our technology and services that transform latency from an onerous burden into a competitive edge, says Donal Byrne, CEO, Corvil.
