SunGard Securities Processing says Craig Schachter has joined the company as Vice President, Sales, based in SunGard’s New York office at 55 Broadway. He is responsible for generating new business and expanding SunGard’s global presence for its Phase3, STN Settlements, and Margin Advisor securities processing, clearance and settlement applications.
Prior to SunGard, Schachter was head of global sales and account management at corporate actions data and software provider, Xcitek, for over 10 years, during which time he managed a global sales team in three locations. He served on the board of the Securities Industry Association’s (SIA) Corporate Actions Division from 1996 to 2004, and was an active member in the SIA’s Securities Operations, Dividend, and Data Management Divisions. In addition, he has been a member of the International Securities Association for Institutional Trade Communication (ISITC-IOA) and the Cashier’s Association of Wall Street since 1997.
