ConvergEx Hires Gough To Head London Office

ConvergEx has hired Philip Gough as its chief executive of ConvergEx Limited, its London-based brokerage.

ConvergEx has hired Philip Gough as its chief executive of ConvergEx Limited, its London-based brokerage.

In his role, Gough will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of ConvergEx’s international business operations. He will also join the firm’s executive committee.

Gough joins from rival firm KCG Europe where was a managing director. He was also chief operating officer of Knight Capital Europe (before it became KCG Holdings), and held senior roles at PricewaterhouseCoopes and Barclays.

In addition, ConvergEx has hired John Holl as managing director and head of its sales and trading in London. Holl has also held many senior roles at Cantor Fitzgerald Europe and Citigroup Global Markets.
