ConvergEx Appoints Chief Information Officer

ConvergEx has promoted Gary Ardell to chief information officer. As part of the new role, Ardell will also join the company’s executive committee.

As CIO, Ardell will primarily be responsible for ConvergEx’s technical infrastructure, software development and business processes. Ardell will also continue to serve in his role as head of business strategy development and head of ConvergEx’s financial engineering and advanced trading solutions group.

Before coming to ConvergEx in 2006, Ardell served as the head of financial engineering at Fidelity Capital Markets.
