m.a.partners, the management consulting firm, has opened an office in Chicago. The firm already operates out of offices in New York, London and Amsterdam.
The new office, located on 200 South Wacker Drive, will house several full-time consultants based in Chicago. Staff will continue to be added throughout 2006.
“As a leading financial centre, Chicago is a very important market for us, and establishing our presence there is a key component of our strategic plans for growth,” says Lee Sach, Partner and Head of North America for m.a.partners. “We believe that having a base in Chicago provides us with the opportunity to extend our footprint into the local exchanges as well as the asset management, hedge fund and commodities areas.”
“We see the opening of a second US location as a chance to strengthen our relationships with some of our current investment banking clients and to engage in projects spearheaded by their Chicago operations,” adds Chris McAuley, Associate Partner and Chicago office lead for m.a.partners.
McAuley will be based in Chicago and will manage the business development and recruitment activities for the new office. “We look forward to expanding our client base while continuing to provide strategic advice and technology services to many of our existing clients,” he says.
Since its inception in 1996, m.a.partners has achieved a compound annual growth rate of over 45% and a significant increase in headcount. The firm began with two partners and now employs over 125 consultants worldwide.
