Conifer Securities Opens Offshore Administration Facility In British Virgin Islands

Conifer Securities, LLC, a provider of business and operations solutions to hedge fund managers, family offices, foundations and endowments, has opened an office in the British Virgin Islands (BVI), its first offshore fund administration facility.

The new Conifer entity, Conifer Fund Services BVI, officially opens on 1 January 2007. The office will be headed by Peter O’ Connell, Managing Director.

“Fund administration has never been more important for both managers and their clients,” says Philip Stapleton, the President and CEO of Conifer Securities. “Our first stand-alone offshore administration center in BVI will now provide the same high-quality service that the market expects and receives from Conifer onshore.”

Before the firm’s BVI office, Conifer Securities provided offshore fund administration to global clients through a strategic relationship with Hedge Fund Services BVI.
