Data management solution provider Confluence has hired Melvin Jayawardana to be European fund administration product manager based in London.
Jayawardana previously was senior vice president and product manager for mutual fund accounting at J.P. Morgan. He has also been head of change management for State Street Bank Edinburgh and vice president and unit head for Fund Services at State Street Bank Luxembourg.
Jayawardana will be responsible for the Unity platform, Confluences data hub, and for product innovation.
“Melvin Jayawardana has a strong background in managing and delivering fund administration technology solutions throughout the European market,” says Skip Smith, vice president of product development for Confluence. “For our customers, Melvin’s expertise will help them realize even greater benefits from the use of our automation solutions in order to meet the distinct needs of European fund administrators.”
Jayawardana has a BSc (Hons) in business studies with a specialization in economics and finance from Huron University in London.
