Computershare has been appointed to run the share registry and employee share plans of First Active plc, the Irish financial services provider, and the share registry of Millwall Holdings plc.

First Active has the largest share register in Ireland, with over 160,000 shareholders. The company provides residential and commercial loans, as well as value-added savings and investment products, to the Irish and UK markets. 750 of First Active’s employees subscribe to the Employee Share Participation Scheme.

With over 40,000 shareholders, many of them supporters of the club, Millwall has one of the largest share registers of UK listed football clubs.

Both companies said that their reasons for moving to Computershare included the quality of its service and technology, its range of products, its commitment to strong client relationships and the quality and enthusiasm of its people.

Ed Stockdale, director global operations, for Computershare said, “We are delighted to welcome First Active and Millwall to Computershare. These are significant wins, showing that Computershare is now the first choice not only for share registration, but for technically advanced shareholder services throughout the UK and Ireland.”
