National Financial Partners said last week that New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer has issued a subpoena to one of its affiliates seeking information about compensation agreements with insurance companies. The New York-based company, whose chief executive, Jessica Bibliowicz, is the daughter of Citigroup Chairman Sanford “Sandy” Weill, said it is cooperating fully with Spitzer’s request. National Financial said the inquiry is limited to its property and casualty brokerage operations licensed in New York, and that it cannot predict the outcome of the inquiry.
