HelioGraph announced today that Commerzbank Securities has gone live with eVent, its corporate actions automation solution. The bank went live the week before last week, following six weeks of User Acceptance Testing.
Commerzbank Securities now uses eVent to automate its announcement capture process and integrate announcement capture feeds from SWIFT as well as data vendors such as Telekurs and Bloomberg.
“Automating the corporate actions process is made possible by, amongst other things, the new ISO 15022 standard,” says Amery Thomas, Managing Director, HelioGraph. “But you also need a sound understanding of the business processes involved and the right kind of technology architecture. The complexity of the task is significant. We think that Commerzbank Securities is going to enjoy a real competitive advantage by using eVent and we’re delighted to welcome them as live users.”
HelioGraph says it was the first provider to launch a complete corporate actions automation solution, and that eVent now enjoys market leadership. The company adds that it recently signed three other new licence agreements for eVent, which it will announce soon. Current users include ABN AMRO, MFS Investment Management and KBC Asset Management Limited.
In the last year, Heliograph has acquired 32 new clients including State Street, Mellon Global Investments and Deutsche Asset Management.
