In anticipation of the Legal Merger between ABN AMRO Bank N.V. (ABN AMRO Bank) and Fortis Bank (Nederland) N.V. (Fortis Bank Nederland) into a combined entity ABN AMRO Bank N.V., ABN AMRO Bank and Fortis Bank Nederland have made available a presentation for counterparties to present an insight into the combined entity. This presentation includes the aggregated results of the combined entity.
The Legal Merger is intended to become effective on 1 July 2010, subject to the fulfillment of the applicable conditions precedent, including but not limited to the timely receipt of relevant legal and regulatory approvals.
