Chicago Mercantile Exchange and Tokyo Stock Exchange are amongst talks considering a business alliance, according to a press release from Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.
The stock exchange has been discussing an alliance with CME, and Taizo Nishimuro, CEO of TSE has met with CME executives in Chicago, according to a spokesman for the TSE.
No details have been finalised.
