Close Asset Management Limited has signed a discretionary investment manager (“DFM”) agreement with Standard Life, the savings and investments company. It is Close’s aim to be the DFM of choice for UK IFAs and this new arrangement is a fundamental part of that strategy.
As part of this development, Standard Life will make Close’s discretionary investment management capability available to those of its clients who hold the Standard Life International Bond.
“We are delighted to be entering into this agreement with a company of Standard Life’s stature,” says Robert Imbert, Director of Intermediary Sales. “We feel the arrangement brings benefits to both parties and will enable Close to offer its multi-asset, multi-level discretionary portfolio management services to a wider range of IFAs and their clients. We are excited by the prospects this new agreement brings to us and we are looking forward to developing stronger relationships with Standard Life and the wider IFA community.”
