Clearstream ends 2014 with an overall value for assets under custody of €12.5 trillion, having increased by 5% (from €12.0 trillion) since December 2013.
For 2014, the yearly average of the value of assets under custody held on behalf of customers reached €12.2 trillion, increasing by 5%. Furthermore, 3.62 million international (the international central securities depositary) settlement transactions were processed, up by 11%.
Securities held under custody at Clearstream’s international business have increased by 7% to €6.7 trillion in December 2014, while securities held at its German CSD increased by 2%.
