Clearstream’s assets under custody grew by 10% Y-o-Y, with growth reported to apply to all commercial aspects of the business.
As of May 2015, Clearstream’s overall asset value reached EUR 13.4 trillion, in contrast to EUR $12.1 trillion last year.
Securities held under custody within the international central securities depository (ICSD) increased by 11%, while securities held under custody in the German CSD increased by 9%.
In May 2015, 3.6 million (ICSD) settlement transactions were carried out, which marks a 2% decrease Y-o-Y.
Revenues from Global Securities Financing (GSF) services, which include triparty repo, securities lending and collateral management, was up 5% to EUR 593.7 billion.
