Clearstream AuC Up 8% in August

Assets held under custody (AuC) by Clearstream increased 8% in August to EUR 13.2 trillion, spurred by increased business in its international CSD.

Securities held under custody in its ICSD increased 10% to EUR 7.2 trillion.

In the month, Clearstream also processes 3.3 million settlement transactions, a 7% increase year over year.

However, activity in its combined triparty repo, collateral management and securities lending business fell 3% to EUR 613 billion.
